GamePlan

Text message program

GamePlan sends text messages for one reason: to verify that a phone number belongs to the person adding it to their account.

Where users opt in

GamePlan users verify their phone number from their account settings. The user enters their own number and taps Send code, which sends a single one-time passcode. Messages are transactional only, with no marketing.

Before the user taps Send code, the dialog reads:We'll text a 6-digit verification code to the new number.

The Change phone dialog in GamePlan account settings after the user tapped Send code. It reads: Enter the 6-digit code we sent to (515) 371-4708, with a Verification code field and Cancel and Confirm buttons.
The Change phone dialog inside GamePlan, shown after the user asked for a code. Only the person signed in to the account can open it.

What the message says

Your GamePlan verification code is 123456. It expires in 10 minutes.
